Working as a photographer can be a tough gig—there are so many balls to keep in the air at any given time. When it comes to editing your photos, you may run into different challenges: you aren’t sure how to do it, you don’t know how to approach it, or you may simply not want to do it.

My name is Marisa and I find joy in editing. I have four years of hands-on experience with Adobe Lightroom, further solidified by an intensive 15-hour seminar at the Canadian Photography Learning Centre in Edmonton, Alberta. My commitment to learning has advanced my editing techniques.

I see myself as more than just a photo editor: I partner with photographers to refine their visual narratives and create lasting memories for their clients.

+ STANDARD LIGHTROOM EDITING

Lightroom panels include: basic, tone curve, colour mixer, colour grading, detail, lens correction, transform, lens blur, effects, and calibration

Levelling, cropping, and applying your profiles and presets

+ 5-7 BUSINESS DAY TURNAROUND (Portraits)

+ 7-10 BUSINESS DAY TURNAROUND (Weddings)

How it works

  • It's normal to feel stressed and overwhelmed at times, but it doesn't have to be that way. Outsourcing your editing will free up time and energy to focus on those things that really matter to you. I recognize that you are a visual storyteller, but also a business--you need to deliver to your clients. For this reason, I offer a customized one-on-one experience to suit your creative needs. It matters to me professionally, and, personally, that you are happy with your edits.

  • Yes. For your first catalogue, receive your first 50 images edited for FREE. Returning client? Receive 10% off with every referral.

  • No, your RAW files remain yours and only yours. I work using Smart Preview catalogues. These are much smaller than RAW files and easy to send back and forth.

  • Absolutely. Please send along any presets and profiles that you use with your work. They will help achieve the consistent look that you are going for. I don’t share your presets or use them on another photographer’s work. They are yours and yours alone.

  • I accept clients from all over North America. Please note that my prices are listed in Canadian dollars.
